Econergy to build PV park in Dâmbovița County

Econergy, one of the most active investors in the renewable energy sector in Romania, has obtained the connection approval for a new renewable energy project, according to public data.

The company Eco Sun Niculești SRL obtained last month from Transelectrica the technical approval for connection (ATR) for a future photovoltaic park located in the town of Niclești in Dâmbovița County. The park has a designed capacity of 177 MW and will be connected to a new 220 kV substation connected to Transelectrica's Brazi Vest – Fundeni line.

The technical approval for connection was issued by Transelectrica on August 4, and the estimated date of commissioning of the park is the end of 2024. Read more…
